We are currently looking for a counselor to specialize in providing high-quality, evidenced-based counseling services to patients in the Medication Assisted Treatment program in an OTP setting. The MAT Counselor duties include:  reviewing diagnostic assessment and treatment recommendations for patients with opioid use disorder; Developing a personalized treatment plan; Coordinating services with the CHC medical dept.; Regular staffing of cases with the multi-disciplinary MAT treatment team; Facilitating psycho-educational groups; Completing appropriate clinical documentation within CHC policy guidelines; Preparing transfer and discharge summaries.


Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field.  LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC III or LICDC required.  Independent licensure preferred. Candidate should have at least one year of clinical experience treating patients with substance use disorders, preferably with MAT patients.  Must be willing to work with this patient population exclusively and become proficient in understanding and providing MAT education, non-judgmental support, and effective monitoring and treatment.
